3/31/2006:

[DalianDragon] and they beat the crap out of their town's CCP leader.

[DalianDragon] then, the army came and "blockaded" the town.

[Brat] wow

[DalianDragon] they weren't allowed to import food or medicine.

[DalianDragon] and many people were afraid to leave their houses.

[maverickcolt] DD - is it possible that with the level of graft that communist systems always carry and with the backward base of china - that the regime there might be more vulnerable than we normally assume??

[DalianDragon] eventually, everyone died of starvation, sickness.....or "bullet-related deaths".

[maverickcolt] wow

[maverickcolt] wow

[maverickcolt] they should get a lot of bad press for that

[scuzz101] wish arvor was here to read that

[maverickcolt] scuzz - yessss

[Fredkc] MAv, actually you get 10 years for printing that

[DalianDragon] from what I've been able to witness... people here are getting a taste of Capitalism.

[Andrew] i dont wish arvor were here

[maverickcolt] IC

[Fredkc] Capitalism, without freedom or democracy, though.

[DalianDragon] and they are developing a hunger for the freedoms that Democracy provides (as opposed to communism)

[Fredkc] have to point that out to Yanks... they tend to see it as one in the same

[DalianDragon] They see what they west has. And they want the same.

[maverickcolt] DD - yes but the bureacracy is usually moribund in such a govt - many useless levels of control - lots of opportunity for corruption

[Brat] dragon..... what do you know of the chinese internet.....in that if you are there, how is it you are here and speaking dissent?

[Andrew] oh yeah

[DalianDragon] Maveric.... what government are you talking about??? You sound EXACTLY like you're describing Chinese Communism.

[maverickcolt] DD - actually - Id like to see the chinese People get their indepencence - to see a Middle Class develop - that would augur well I think

[Andrew] apparently the chinese govt. even blocks googles cache of pages

[maverickcolt] DD - lol

[DalianDragon] Corruption is the "grease" that keeps the "wheels" of Chinese government running.

[maverickcolt] maybe I am

[maverickcolt] right
